Translate Tweets to Any Language while GeoChirping

We have launched a new feature on GeoChirp which will allow you to translate the tweets to any language you desire.

We feel that the Translate feature will make the experience of GeoChirping very useful for everyone and also help bridge the barrier of language in communicating and understanding the Twitosphere.

- Let’s say you are checking out tweets of users in any specified region. You can now easily and ‘selectively’ translate these tweet results to, let’s say, French (or any other language you desire) by carrying out the following simple steps:

Select the desired language from the drop down of ‘Translate My Tweets To‘. In the above example, it will be ‘French’. The ‘Translate My Tweets To’ option is given right below the ‘Subscribe to this Search’ link.
Once the above selection is made, you will notice a link of ‘translate’ below each tweet result that is displayed for your search query. Click on this to ‘selectively’ translate individual tweets to French.
You have an option of clicking on ‘Original Text’ – which will re-translate the tweet back to the original language.

GeoChirp – Who’s Chirping in your neighborhood

GeoChirp is a Twitter and Google Maps mashup product of CueBlocks, which allows you to easily find Tweeples within 1 mile to 50 miles radius of any location. You can search on specific phrases and see who is talking about these keywords in their tweets, within any location of interest to you.

# Some of the prominent features of GeoChirp:

Free Usage: GeoChirp is free to use. You do not even need to login to start GeoChirping. Even if you don’t have a twitter account, you can use GeoChirp.
Define Radius: You can define the geographical radius using the ‘Search Radius’ widget provided. Zoom in to 1 mile or increase the radius range to 50 miles and find other Tweeples.
Change Locations: You can target GeoChirp to any location on Earth and start GeoChirping. By default it takes you to your current location. This location change can easily be done by either using your mouse on the map or to use the ‘Search box’ given on the bottom left side of the map. For eg. If you are based in Moscow, but want to find tweeples within a 10 mile radius of an address in London, you can easily do that.
Search the entire Twitosphere: GeoChirp also allows you to remove the restrictions of radius to make your search Universal. If you wish to search the entire Twitosphere and see who all are tweeting about a keyword, you simply need to turn the ‘Universal Search’ feature on (placed on the top right hand side of the map).
Latest Results: While you are GeoChirping, you will be prompted anytime there are fresh tweets about your search. You can then hit the ‘Refresh’ tab to see the latest results. This ensures that you get real time data at all times.
RSS for Searches: You can now subscribe to your specific searches using RSS. Anytime there are new updates in your search, you will be notified via RSS.
